Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers confened by sub-section (2) of sectton 27 read with sectron 2E of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of l96E), the Central Government hereby proposes to make the following Order, namely:- DRAFT ORDER Thrs Order may- be called the Restnchon on Use of Fenthion Order,2007 It sha.ll come into force on the date of its publication rn the Ofticial Gazette.
No person sha,ll use Fenthion in agncultue except for locust control, household and p_u_b.li qtreahll All the holders of certrficate ofregstratron shall retum the cerhficate of registrahon to the Reg:stratron Committee for incorporation of the waming in bold letters "BANNED FOR USE ON AGRICULTLIRE" on labels and leallets.
If any person who holds the certificate of regtstration fa s Io return the ceruficate to the Registration Committee, referred to tn clause (2), wttlun a period ofslx months, the certificate of regtstration $anted to them shall not be renewed or actron shall be taken under section l4 of the said Act, I (1)
