Section 5: Conveyance for the Chief Minister, other Ministers and Ministers of State
(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya (Ministers’ Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1972.State Ordinance of Meghalaya · No. 4 of 1972
The Government may provide for the use of the Chief Minister , other Ministers or Ministers of State a suitable conveyance and may by rules provide for their maintenance and repair:
Provided that if a Minister chooses to maintain his own car, such Minister shall been titled to a conveyance allowance of rupees three hundred per mensem.
