And whereas, Registration Committee, in consultation with representatives of pesticide industry, constituted a Core Group of Experts to examine the total data available with the Secretariat of Central lnsecticides Board and Registration Committee and the pesticide industry in respect of Deemed to be Registered Pesticides;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 27 of lhe lnsecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Cenkal Government after considering the recommendation of the said Core Group of Experts and after consultation with the Registration Committee and on being satisfied that further use of Deemed to be Registered Pesticides enumerated below is likely to cause risk to human beings and animals as their safety cannot be fully established for want of complete data asked for from the pesticide industry, hereby propose to make the following draft Order, namely :- DRAFT ORDER (A) Label claim of the following insecticides for the crops mentioned against each insecticide shall be deleted from the date of publication of the Order :- LIST OF CROPS TO BE DELETED FROM APPROVED USAGES :

(c) (D) (E) (F) (G) All registrants who have been granted certificates of Regrstration atongwith label/leaflets in respect of the above mentioned pesticides should return their Certificates of Registration to the becretary, Central lnsecticides Board and Registration Committee, NH-IV, Faridabad within six months from the date of publication of this notification, failing which action to revoke the licence under section 14 of the lnsecticides Act, 1 968 shall be initiated.
Non endorsement or correction of the Certificates of Registration will not be taken as permission or approval to operate upon Certificates of Registration in contravention of the provision of this Order.
Certificates not submitted by the due date shall be deemed to have been cancelled.
The State Governments may take such steps in their respective jurisdiction as they may deem fit for carrying out this Order.
The deletion and/or withdrawal, as the case may be, made by the Government pursuant to this Order shall become inoperative as soon as the required complete data for the insecticide (s) as per the guidelines is generated and submitted by the Pesticide lndustry to the Government and accepted by the Registration Committee The draft Order, which the Central Government proposes to make, is hereby published for information of all persons who are likely to be affected ihereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft order shall be taken into consideration afier the expiry of a period of forty-five days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette containing this Order are made available to the public;
Any person desirous of making any suggestion or objection in respect of said Order may forward the same for consideration of the Central Government within the period so specified to the Joint Secretary (Plant Protection), Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi-1 10001.
