Aer, aa ahaa, Bhopal, the 12th October 2010 No. (17) F-B-1-21-2009-2-V.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clause (d) and (h) of sub-section (2) of Scction 62 of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915 (No. II of 1915), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Country Spirit Rules, 1995, namely :— AMENDMENTS In the said rules,— I. In rule 4, in sub-rule (13), for the words “sealing charges”, the words “issue price’’ shall be substituted.

In rule 5, in sub-rule (3), in clause (a), for the words “sealing charges”, the words “issue price” shall be substituted.
In Form C.S.-2, for condition no. 6, the following condition shall be substituted, namely :— The licensee shall purchase from consumers empty bottles in sound condition at such rates, as may be fixed from the time to time by the State Government. He shall pay, in addition to the excise duty of country spirit, such issue price, as may be fixed from time to lime by the State Government. He shall not charge from the consumer, on account of issue price, including the cost of the bottle, more than the rate paid by him to the bottling contractor. He shall affix in front of his shop a sign-board painted in Hindi showing the name of the shop, the selling rates, the issue price (glass-bottles) and the rates at which the empty glass-bottles of 750, 375 and 180 millilitres, shall be repurchased.”’.
In Form C.S.-2-A, for condition no. 5, the following condition shall be substituted, namely :— The licensee shall purchase from consumers empty bottles in sound condition, Specially prepared for the Excise Department, at such rates, as may be fixed from time to time by the State Government and return them to the bottling contractor at the warehouse for recycling. He shall pay, in addilion to the excise duty of count spirit, such issue price, as may be fixed from time to time by the State Government. He shall not charge from the consumer, on account of issue price, including the cost of the bottle, more than the rate paid by him to the bottling contractor.
He shall affix in front of his shop a sign-board painted in Hindi showing the name of the shop, the selling rates, issue price (for glass-bottles) and the rates at which the empty glass-bottles of 750, 375 and 180 millilitres, shall be repurchased.”.
