Section 23: Certain licensees required to keep instruments for testing etc.

Every person who manufactures liquor or sells country liquor under a licence granted under this Act shall be bound––

v(a) to supply himself with such of the prescribed instruments for testing the strength of such liquor as the !1[Commissioner] may direct and to keep the same in good condition, and

(b) on the requisition of any officer of the Excise Department duly empowered in that behalf, at any time to measure out or to test the strength of any such liquor in his possession in such manner as the said officer may require.
