1. लघु शीष. एवं �ारंभ – (1) इस आदशे को पौध संगरोध (भारत म% आयात का िविनयमन) (सातवाँ संशोधन) आदशे, 2016 कहा जाए।
(2) यह राजक�य राजप5 म% �काशन क� ितिथ स े�वृ� त होगा।

O. 2614(E):—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:— Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Seventh Amendment) Order, 2016.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule VI.- In the Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003-
(i) Against serial number 184, relating to Juglans spp. (Walnut), in column (3) against the entry
(ii) regarding Dry Fruits for consumption, against the entry in column (4), of serial no. (ii) relating to ‘Chile’, the existing entries in columns (5) and (6) shall be substituted by the following, namely:-
(ii) Against serial number 262, in column (2) against the entry (i) relating to “Pome Fruits (Apple, Pear (Pyrus spp.) and Quince (Cydonia spp.)’ in column (3) against the entry (iii) regarding “Fresh Fruit for Consumption”, against the entry in column (4) of serial no. (xv) relating to ‘Argentina’, the existing entries in column (6) shall be substituted by the following, namely:- Special conditions of import
(6) “Pre-shipment/In-transit cold treatment @ 0.0 o C for 40 days”.
The treatment should be endorsed on Phytosanitary Certificate issued at the country of origin/re-export.
(iii) Against serial number 296 relating to Stevia spp. in Column (3), the entry shall be re-numbered as item (i) thereof and after item (i) as so re-numbered and the entries relating thereto in columns (3),
(4), (5) and (6), the following item and entries shall respectively be inserted namely:-

a) Pantomorus cervinus (Fuller's rose beetle) Fumigation with Aluminium Phosphide (ALP) at 9 gm/metric ton for minimum 5-7 days.
The treatment shall be endorsed on Phytosanitary Certificate issued at the country of origin/re-export.

as per international standards or Pre shipment cold treatment at 0 o C or below for 10 days; 0.55 o C or below for 11 days; 1.1 o C or below for 12 days plus in-transit refrigeration against fruit flies and b) MBr fumigation @ 32 g/cubic metre for 2 hrs at 21 o C or above at NAP or equivalent thereof.
The treatment should be endorsed on Phytosanitary Certificate issued at the country of origin/re-export.

3. Amendment of Schedule VII.- In the Schedule VII to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003 after serial number 298 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted namely:- “299 Sceletium tortuosum – Kanna leaves (dried) for medicinal/consumption purpose.” [F.No. 8-1/2016-PP.II] R.
