He/She shall not be eligible for reappointment.
xiii. five eminent academicians not being in the service of the University to nominated by the Visitor for a period of three years.
xiv. Five persons not in the service of the University co-opted by the Academic Council for their special knowledge in educational progress and development.

1. The Executive Council shall consist of the following members:
i. the Vice Chancellor ii. the Pro Vice Chancellor iii. three Deans of the School to be selected by rotation in order of seniority.
iv. one Principal from Govt./Govt. aided colleges affiliated with HNBGU to be selected by rotation in order of seniority in substantive capacity as Principal.
v. one Professor, one Associate Professor and one Assistant Professor to be selected by rotation on the basis of seniority.
vi. one member elected by the Court. He/She shall not be eligible for reappointment.
vii. one person to be nominated by the Chancellor.
viii. four persons to be nominated by the visitor.
ix. One person to be nominated by the Chairman, UGC.
x. One person to be nominated by the Secretary, Higher Education, MHRD.
2. the members of the Executive Council should hold office for a term of three years.
3. at a time no person shall continue to be a member of the Executive Council in more than one capacity.
4. Half of the total members of the Executive Council excluding the Chairman shall form the quorum for the meeting of the Executive Council out of which two members shall be from among the visitor’s nominee.
5. Registrar shall act as Ex-Officio Secretary
6. In case of Sub-Clause (iii), (iv) and (v) if the date of joining is the same, the seniority will be decided by date of birth i.e. the person having earlier date of birth being senior.
