Section 2: Definitions

In these rules, uniess the context otherwise requires, -

(a) "Act" means the Airports Authority of India Act, 1994 (55 of 1994);

(b) "Authority" means the Airports Authority of India constituted under section 3 of the Act;

(c) "Chairperson" means the Chairperson of the Authority appointed under clause (a) nf sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act; ,

(d) "Member" means the member of the Authority;

(e) Words used herein but not defined shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
