Section 28: Investment of cash balance

Whenever the cash balance of any estate after providing for ascertained current demands and outgoings _____________________________________________________________________ 1 to 5 Sub. by G. N. of 29-6-1984.

12 amounts to or exceeds 1[five] thousand rupees, it shall be invested by the Administrator-General in the manner authorised by any law for the time being in force relating to the investment of trust funds, or by way of fixed deposits in any 2[Nationalised Bank or by way of Bonds, Securities, Units through Nationalised Bank/ Broker after taking brokerage or incentive against the said investment, if applicable.]
