Section 64: Repeal and savings.

The Administrators-General Act, 1963Central Act · Act 45 of 1963

(1) The Administrator-Generals Act, 1913 (3 of 1913), is hereby repealed.

(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the provisions of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), relating to the effect of repeals, the repeal effected by this section shall not affect the incorporation of any person holding the office of Administrator-General at the commencement of this Act.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, the provisions of section 59B of the Administrator-Generals Act, 1913 (3 of 1913), shall continue to apply as if that Act had not been repealed.
