PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) izkf/dkj ls izdkf'kr PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY la- 2479] ubZ fnYyh] cq/okj] vxLr 30] 2017@Hkkæ 8] 1939 No. 2479] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 2017/BHADRA 8, 1939 ᮰म और रोजगार मंᮢ ालय अिधसचूना नई िदल् ली, 30 अगस्त, 2017 का.आ. 2827(अ).—बालक और कुमार ᮰म (ᮧितषेध और िविनयमन) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 61) का और संशोधन करने के िलए, भारत सरकार के ᮰म और रोजगार मंᮢालय की अिधसूचना सं. सा.का.िन. 1022 (अ), तारीख 31 माचर्, 2017 ᳇ारा उन सभी व् यिक् तयᲂ स,े िजनके उससे ᮧभािवत होने की संभावना थी, उस तारीख स,े िजसको उस राजपᮢ की ᮧितयां, िजसमᱶ यह अिधसूचना अंतिवर्ष् ट ह,ै जनता को उपलब् ध करा दी गई थᱭ, तीन मास की अविध के भीतर आक्षेप और सझुाव आमंिᮢत करते हुए एक ᮧारूप अिधसूचना ᮧकािशत की गई थी ; उक् त राजपᮢ अिधसूचना की ᮧितयां जनसाधारण को 3 अᮧैल, 2017 को उपलब् ध करवाई गई थᱭ ; उक् त ᮧारुप िनयमᲂ के संबंध मᱶ जनसाधारण से ᮧाप् त आक्षेपᲂ और सुझावᲂ पर कᱶ ᮤीय सरकार ᳇ारा सम् यक् रूप से िवचार िकया गया ह ै; अत:, केन् ᮤ ीय सरकार उक् त अिधिनयम की धारा 4 ᳇ारा ᮧदत् त शिक् तयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए बालक और कुमार ᮰म (ᮧितषेध और िविनयमन) अिधिनयम, 1986 की अनुसूची का और संशोधन करने के िलए िनम् निलिखत अिधसूचना अिधसूिचत करती ह,ै अथार्त्:—
1. बालक और कुमार ᮰म (ᮧितषेध और िविनयमन ) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 61) की अनुसूची मᱶ, कोष् ठकᲂ, अंकᲂ और शब् दᲂ— 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] '(1) खानᱶ।
(2) ज् वलनशील पदाथर् या िवस् फोटक।
(3) पिरसकंटमय ᮧिᮓयां। स् पष् टीकरण.—इस अनुसूची के ᮧयोजन के िलए, ''पिरसंकटमय ᮧिᮓयां'' का वही अथर् होगा जो उसे कारखाना अिधिनयम, 1948 (1948 का 43) के खंड (गख) मᱶ िदया गया ह।ै’, के स् थान पर िनम् निलिखत रखा जाएगा, अथार्त:— ''खण्ड क पिरसकंटमय ᳞वसाय तथा ᮧिᮓयाएं िजनमᱶ कुमारᲂ का काम करना तथा बालकᲂ का मदद करना िनषधे ह ै
(1) खानᱶ और कोिलयरी (भूिमगत तथा जलमᲨ) तथा इनसे संबंिधत कायर्,
(i) पत्थर खानᱶ;
(ii) ईंटᲂ की भिᲶया;ं
(iii) इनकी तैयारी तथा ᮧासंिगक ᮧिᮓयाᲐ िजनमᱶ पत्थर या चूना या स्लेट या िसिलका या माइका अथवा भूिम से उत्किषर्त कोई अन्य तत्व अथवा खिनज का खनन, िपसाई, कटाई, िवपाटन, पोिलश करना, एकᮢण तथा मरम् मत करना शािमल ह;ै अथवा
(iv) खुले गᲺे की खानᱶ।
(2) ज्वलनशील पदाथर् तथा िवस्फोटक जैसे—
(i) पटाखᲂ का उत्पादन, सᮕंहण अथवा िबᮓी;
(ii) िवस्फोटक अिधिनयम, 1884 (1884 का 4) के अंतगर्त पिरभािषत िवस्फोटकᲂ का उत्पादन, संᮕहण, िबᮓी, लादना, उतरना;
(iii) उत्पादन, ᮧहस्तन, िपसाई, चमकाना, कटाई, पोिलश, वे िल्डंग, साचें मᱶ ढालना, इलेक्ᮝो प्लेᳳटंग से संबंिधत कायर् तथा अन्य कोई ᮧिᮓया से संबंिधत कायर् िजसमᱶ ज्वलनशील पदाथर् हᲂ; अथवा
(iv) ज्वलनशील पदाथᲄ, िवस्फोटकᲂ त था उनके उप-उत्पादᲂ का अपिश᳥ ᮧबंधन।
(v) ᮧाकृितक गैस और अन् य संबंध उत् पाद। पिरसकंटमय ᮧिᮓयाएं (कारखाना अ िधिनयम, 1948 (1948 का 63) की ᮧथम अनसुचूी मᱶ यथािविन᳸दर्ष् ट नीच ेउिल् लिखत ᮓम सखं् या (3) स े(31) तक):—

(5) ढलाईसाल (लौह और अलौह): कािस्टंग और फोिजᲈग सिहत सफाई करना अथवा िचकना करना अथवा रेत और शॉट ब्लािस्टंग ᳇ारा खुरदरा बनाना
(6) कोयला (कोक सिहत) उ᳒ोग:
(i) कोयला, िलᲨाहट, कोक, इसी ᮧकार के अन्य पदाथर्;

(i) तेल शु िकरण प िरष्करण;
(ii) ᳩेहन तेल और ᮕीस;
(12) पेᮝो-रसायन उ᳒ोग;
(13) दवा और औषधीय उ᳒ोग-मादक दवाएं, औष िधयां और फामार्स्यू िटकल्स;
(14) िकण् वन उ᳒ोग (आसवन और म᳒ िनमार्णशाला);

(32) पिरसंकटमय रसायन िविनमार्ण, भंडारण और आयात िनयम, 1989 की अनुसूची –I के भाग-II मᱶ यथा िविन᳸दर᳥् जो िखम रसायन की ᮧहस्तन और ᮧकमण मᱶ िनिहत ᮧिᮓया;
(33) बूचडखानᲂ और कसाईखानᲂ मᱶ कायर् िजसके अन् तगर्त िगलोिटन का कायर् भी ह;ै
(34) रे िडयोधमᱮ पदाथर् िजसके अन् तगर्त इलैक् ᮝािनक कचरा भी ह ैके ᮧभाव मᱶ डालने वाले कायर् और इससे संबं िधत ᮧ िᮓयाएं;
(35) पोत िवभंजन;
(36) नमक खनन या नमक बनाने का कायर्;
(37) भवन एवं अन्य स ि᳖मार्ण कामगार ( रोजगार का िविनयमन एवं सेवा-शतᱸ ) केन्ᮤीय िनयम, 1998 की अनुसूची-ix मᱶ िविन᳸दर᳥् पिरसंकटमय ᮧ िᮓयाएं
(38) बीडी बनाने का कायर् या तंबाकू िजसके अन् तगर्त तंबाकू का िविनमार्ण्, पेिस् टंग और हथालन भी ह ै का ᮧसंस् करण या मन:ᮧभावी पदाथर् या खा᳒ ᮧसंस् करण मᱶ िकसी रूप मᱶ एल् कोहल और मिदरा उ᳒ोग और बार, पब, पा᳷टर्यᲂ या इसी ᮧकार के अन् य अवसरᲂ पर जहां एल् कोहिलक पदाथर् परोस े जाते ह।ै भाग –ख ᳞वसायᲂ और ᮧ िᮓयाᲐ की सूची जहा ंप िरवार अथवा पा िरवा िरक उ᳒म मᱶ बालकᲂ की सहायता के िलए ᮧ ितिष िकया गया ह ै(भाग क के अ ितिरᲦ) ᳞वसाय िन᳜िलिखत से संबंिधत कोई ᳞वसाय—
(1) रेलᲂ ᳇ारा यािᮢयᲂ, माल और डाक को इधर उधर ले जाना;
(2) रेलवे पिरसरᲂ मᱶ िनमार्ण कायर् करना, अंगारᲂ या राख से कोयला बीनना अथवा राख के गᲺे को साफ करना;
(3) रेलवे स्टेशन पर बने हुए भोजनालयᲂ मᱶ काम करना, इसमᱶ िकसी कमर्चारी अथवा िवᮓेता ᳇ारा िकया गया ऐसा कायर् भी शािमल ह ैिजसमᱶ एक प्लेटफामर् से दसूरे प्लेटफामर् पर आना जाना अथवा चलती रेलगाड़ी से चढ़ना उतरना पड़ता ह;ै
(4) रेलवे स्टेशन के िनमार्ण से संबंिधत काम या कोई ऐसा काम जो रेल लाइनᲂ के िनकट या उनके बीच मᱶ िकया जाना हो;
(5) िकसी पᱫन की सीमाᲐ के भीतर कोई पᱫन ᮧा िधकरण;
(6) ओटोमोबाइल वकर्शॉप और गैराज;
(7) हथकरघा एवं पावरलूम उ᳒ोग;
(8) प्लािस्टक इकाइयाँ एवं फाइबर ग्लास वकर् शॉप;
(9) घरेलू कामगार अथवा नौकर;

(12) सकर्स;
(13) हािथयᲂ की देखभाल;

(1) कालीन बुनाई िजसमᱶ इसकी शुरूआती और इससे जुड़ी ᮧिᮓया शािमल ह;ै
(2) सीमेन्ट बनाने से लेकर बोिरयᲂ मᱶ भरने तक;
(3) कपड़ा छपाई, रंगाई और बुनाई िजसमᱶ इसकी शुरूआती और इससे जुड़ी ᮧिᮓया शािमल ह;ै
(4) लाख/शीलैक िविनमार्ण;
(5) साबुन बनाना;
(6) ऊन की सफाई;
(7) भवन और िनमार्ण उ᳒ोग िजसमᱶ ᮕेनाइट पत्थरᲂ का ᮧसंस्करण और पॉिलश िकया जाना तथा ढुलाई एवं संᮕहण, बढ़ई िगिर, राज िमᳫी का कायर् शािमल ह;ै
(8) स्लेट पᱹिसल का िनमार्ण (पै᳴कंग सिहत);
(9) अगेट के उत्पादᲂ का िनमार्ण कायर्;
(10) काजू और काजू के िछलके उतारने और उससे जड़ुी ᮧिᮓया;
(11) इलैक्ᮝोिनक उ᳒ोग मᱶ धातु की सफाई, िचᮢ की नᲥाशी एवं टांका लगाने(सोिल्ᮟंग) की ᮧिᮓया
(12) ‘अगरबᱫी’ का िनमार्ण;

(14) ईंटᲂ या खपरैलᲂ का िनमार्ण;
(15) रूई सूत की ओटाई और इसे दबाना, हौजरी का सामान बनाना;
(16) िडटरजᱶट का िनमार्ण;
(17) फैबिरकेशन वकर् शॉप (फेरस एवं नान फेरस);
(18) र᳀ तराशना और उनकी पािलश करना;
(19) ᮓोमाइट और मᱹᲨीज अयस्कᲂ का रख-रखाव;
(20) जूट के कपड़ᲂ का िनमार्ण और कॉयर िनमार्ण;
(21) चूना भᲵा और चूना िनमार्ण;
(22) ताला बनाना;
(23) ऐसी कोई िविनमार्ण ᮧिᮓयाएं िजसमᱶ सीसा का उच्छादन होता ह ैजैसे सीसा लैिपत धातु को पहली बार या दसूरी बार गलाया जाना, वैिल्डंग और कटाई करना, गल्वनीकृत या िजंक िसिलकेट, पोलीिवनाइल क्लोराइड की वैिल्डंग करना, िᮓस्टल ग्लास मास का िम᮰ण (हाथ से) करना, सीसा पेन्ट की बालू हटाना या खुरचना, इनैमिलंग वकर्शॉपᲂ मे सीसे का दाहन, खान ¹Hkkx IIμ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 7 सीसा िनकालना, नलसाजी, केबल बनाना, तार िबछाना, सीसा ढलाई, मुᮤणालयᲂ मᱶ अक्षर की ढुलाई, छरᱷ बनाना, सीसा कांच फुलाना;
(24) सीमेन्ट पाइप तथा सीमेन्ट उत्पाद और सीमᱶट की अन्य वस्तुएं बनाना;
(25) काँच, कॉच के बतर्नᲂ का िनमार्ण िजसमᱶ चूिड़याँ, टयूबᲂ, बल्ब तथा इसी ᮧकार के अन्य कॉच उत्पाद शािमल ह;ᱹ
(26) कीटनाशकᲂ का िनमार्ण और उनका रख-रखाव;
(27) संक्षारीय एव िवषैले पदाथᲃ का िनमार्ण, ᮧिᮓया एव ᮧहस्तन;
(28) जलाऊ कोयला और कोयला इि᳥काᲐ का िनमार्ण;
(29) खेल-कूद की ऐसी वस्तुᲐ का िनमार्ण िजसमᱶ िसन्थेिटक सामᮕी, रसायन और चमड़े का उच्छादन शािमल ह;ै

(31) कागज बनाना;
(32) चीनी िमᲵी के बरतन और िसरेिमक उ᳒ोग;
(33) पीतल की सभी ᮧकार की चीजᲂ का िनमार्ण िजसमᱶ पीतल की कटाई, ढलाई, पािलश और वैिल्डंग शािमल ह;ै
(34) ऐसी कृिष ᮧिᮓयाएं जहाँ फसल को तैयार करने मᱶ ᮝैक्टरᲂ, फसल की कटाई और गहाई मᱶ मशीनᲂ का ᮧयोग िकया जाता है;
(35) आरा िमल- सभी ᮧ िᮓयाएं;
(36) रेशम ᮧसंस् करण;
(37) चमड़े के सामान के िनमार्ण हतुे िस्किनंग, रंगाई और ᮧसंस्करण ᮧिᮓयाएं;
(38) टायर िनमार्ण, मरम्मत,री-ᮝी िडंग और ᮕेफाइट सᲯीकरण;
(39) बतर्न बनाना, पािलश करना और धातु की ब᳴फंग करना;
(40) ‘जरी’ िनमार्ण तथा जरी के उपयोग से जुड़ी (सभी ᮧिᮓयाएं);
(41) ᮕेफाइट पाउडर तैयार करना और उससे जुड़ी ᮧिᮓया;
(42) धातुᲐ की िघसाई या उन पर कांच चढ़ाना;
(43) हीरᲂ की कटाई और पािलश;
(44) कचरा उठाना और कबाड़ एकᮢ करना;
(45) मशीनीकृत मछली पालन;
(46) खा᳒ ᮧसंस्करण;
(47) पेय पदाथर् उ᳒ोग;
(48) मसाला उ᳒ोग के अंतगर्त मसालᲂ की खेती, छंटनी, सुखाना एवं पᱹ ᳴कंग करने का कायर्;
(49) लकड़ी ᮧहस्तन और ढुलाई;
(50) लकड़ी की यां िᮢक कटाई;

(53) खतरनाक मशीनᲂ के िन᳜ िलिखत वगᲄ से संबं िधत ᮧचालनᲂ मᱶ – (क) उᱫोलक एवं िलफ्ट (ख) मशीनᲂ को चढ़ाने, चैनᲂ, र िस्सयᲂ एवं उᱫोलक िविध से जुड़ा कायर् (ग) घूमने वाली मशीनᱶ (घ) िव᳒ुत ᮧ िᮓया (ड) मेटल ᮝेड से ज़डे मशीने टूल्स
(54) कारखाना अ िधिनयम, 1948 (1948 का 63) के धारा 2 के खंड (ट) के उप-खंड (iv) मᱶ मुᮤण के अनुसार अथार्त छपाई के िलए अक्षर िनमार्ण, लेटर ᮧैस ᳇ारा छपाई, पाषाण छपाई, फोटोᮕेवर अथवा अन्य समान ᮧ िᮓया अथवा बुक बाइं िडंग का कायर्”। II. यह अिधसूचना राजपᮢ मᱶ इसके अंितम ᮧकाशन की तारीख को ᮧवृत होगी। [फा. सं. ए-42011/2/2016-सीएल] राजीव अरोड़ा, संयुᲦ स िचव िटप्पण : इस अनुसूची को बाल ᮰म (ᮧ ितषेध एवं िविनयमन) संशोधन अ िधिनयम, 2016 (2016 का 35) जो 1 िसतंबर, 2016 को ᮧवृतन मᱶ आया, ᳇ारा ᮧ ितस्था िपत िकया गया था और ᮧ ितस्थापन से पूवर् अनुसूची मᱶ िन᳜िलिखत ᳇ारा संशोधन िकया गया था – • का.आ. 404(अ), तारीख 5 जून,1989; • का.आ. 263(अ), तारीख 29 माचर्, 1994; • का.आ. 36(अ), तारीख 27 जनवरी, 1999; • का.आ. 397(अ), तारीख 10 मई, 2001; • का.आ. 1742(अ), तारीख 10 अक् तूबर, 2006; • का.आ. 2280(अ), तारीख 25 िसतंबर, 2008; और • का.आ. 2469(अ), तारीख 8 अक् तूबर, 2010। MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th August, 2017 S.O. 2827(E).—Whereas the draft notification further to amend the Schedule to the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986) was published vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O.1022 (E), dated the 31st March, 2017 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of three months from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public; And whereas the copies of the said Gazette were made available to the public on the 3rd April, 2017; ¹Hkkx IIμ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 9 And whereas objections and suggestions received from the public in respect of the said draft notification have been duly considered by the Central Government; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies, the following notification further to amend the Schedule to the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, namely:— I. In the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, in the Schedule, for the brackets, figures and words - ‘(1) Mines.
(2) Inflammable Substances or Explosives.
(3) Hazardous Process.
Explanation.- For the purposes of this Schedule, “hazardous process” has the meaning assigned to it in clause (cb) of the Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948)’., the following shall be substituted, namely:- “PART A Hazardous occupations and processes in which adolescents are prohibited to work and children are prohibited to help
(1) Mines and Collieries (underground and underwater) and related work in,-
(i) stone quarries;
(ii) brick kilns;
(iii) preparatory and incidental processes thereof including extraction, grinding, cutting, splitting, polishing,collection, cobbling of stones or lime or slate or silica ormica orany other such element or mineral extracted from the earth; or
(iv) open pit mines.
(2) Inflammable substances and explosives such as -
(i) production, storage or sale of fire crackers;
(ii) for manufacture, storage, sale, loading, unloading or transport of explosives as defined under the Explosives Act, 1884 (4 of 1884);
(iii) work relating to manufacturing, handling, grinding, glazing, cutting, polishing, welding, moulding, electro-plating, or any other process involving inflammable substances;
(iv) waste management of inflammable substances, explosives and their by-products; or
(v) natural gas and other related products. Hazardous processes(serial numbers (3) to (31) below are as specified in the First Scheduleof the Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948))
(3) Ferrous Metallurgical Industries
(i) Integrated Iron and Steel;
(ii) Ferro-alloys;
(iii) Special Steels.
(4) Non-ferrous Metallurgical Industries:Primary Metallurgical Industries, namely zinc, lead, copper, manganese and aluminium.
(5) Foundries (ferrous and non-ferrous):Castings and forgings including cleaning or smoothening or roughening by sand and shot blasting.
(6) Coal (including coke) Industries:
(i) Coal, Lignite, Coke, similar other substance;
(ii) Fuel Cases (including Coal Gas, Producer Gas, Water Gas).
(7) Power Generating Industries.
(8) Pulp and paper (including paper products) Industries.
(9) Fertilizer Industries:
(i) Nitrogenous;
(ii) Phosphatic;
(iii) Mixed.
(10) Cement Industries:Portland Cement (including slag cement, puzzolona cement and their products).
(11) Petroleum Industries:
(i) Oil Refining;

(12) Petro-chemical Industries.
(13) Drugs and Pharmaceutical Industries:Narcotics, Drugs and Pharmaceuticals.
(14) Fermentation Industries (Distilleries and Breweries).
(15) Rubber (Synthetic Industries).
(16) Paints and Pigment Industries.
(17) Leather Tanning Industries.
(18) Electro-plating Industries.
(19) Chemical Industries:
(i) Coke Oven By-products and Coaltar Distillation products;
(ii) Industrial Gases (nitrogen, oxygen, acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, sulphur dioxide, nitrous oxide, halogenated hydrocarbon, ozone, similar other gas);
(iii) Industrial Carbon;
(iv) Alkalies and Acids;
(v) Chromates and dichromates;
(vi) Lead and its compounds;
(vii) Electro chemicals (metallic sodium, potassium and magnesium, chlorates, per chlorates and peroxides);
(viii) Electro thermal produces (artificial abrasive, calcium carbide);
(ix) Nitrogenous compounds (cyanides, cyanamides, and other nitrogenous compounds);
(x) Phosphorus and its compounds;
(xi) Halogens and Halogenated compounds (chlorine, flourine, bromine and iodine);
(xii) Explosives (including industrial explosives and detonators and fuses).
(20) Insecticides, Fungicides, Herbicides and other pesticides industries.
(21) Synthetic Resin and Plastics.
(22) Man-made Fiber (Cellulosic and non-cellulosic) industry.
(23) Manufacture and repair of electrical accumulators.
(24) Glass and Ceramics.
(25) Grinding or glazing of metals.
(26) Manufacture, handling and processing of asbestos and its products.
(27) Extraction of oils and fats from vegetable and animal sources.
(28) Manufacture, handling and use of benzene and substances containing benzene.
(29) Manufacturing processes and operations involving carbon disulphide.
(30) Dyes and dyestuff including their intermediates.
(31) Highly flammable liquids and gases.
(32) Process involving handling and processing of hazardous and toxic chemicals as specified in Part-II of the Schedule Ito the Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemical Rules, 1989.
(33) Work in slaughter houses and abattoirsincluding work with guillotines.
(34) Work involving exposure to radioactive substances including electronic wasteand incidental processes therein.
(35) Ship breaking.
(36) Salt Mining or Salt Pan Work.
(37) Hazardous processes as specified in Schedule IX to the Building and Other Construction Workers’ (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Central Rules, 1998.
(38) Work in beedi-making or processing of tobacco including manufacturing, pasting and handling tobacco or any drugs or psychotropic substance or alcohol in any form in food processing and beverage industry and at bars, pubs, parties or other similar occasions that serve alcoholic substances.
PART B List of occupations and processes where children are prohibited to help in family or family enterprises (in addition to PART A) Occupations Any occupation concerned with —

2. cinder picking, clearing of an ash pit or building operation in the railway premises;

10. dhabas (roadside eateries), restaurants, hotels, motels, resorts;

13. caring of Elephant;
14. power driven bakery machine;

1. Carpet-weaving including preparatory and incidental process thereof;
2. Cement manufacture, including bagging of cement;
3. Cloth printing, dyeing and weaving including processes, preparatory and incidental thereto;
4. Shellac manufacture;
5. Soap manufacture;
6. Wool-cleaning;
7. Building and construction industry including processing and polishing of granite stones; hauling and stacking materials; carpentry; masonry;
8. Manufacture of slate pencils (including packing);
9. Manufacture of products from agate;
10. Cashew and cashew nut descaling and processing;
11. Metal cleaning, photo engraving and soldering processes in electronic industries;
12. Aggarbatti manufacturing;
13. Automobile repairs and maintenance including processes incidental thereto namely, welding, lathe work, dent beating and painting;
14. Roof tiles units;
15. Cotton ginning and processing and production of hosiery goods;
16. Detergent manufacturing;
17. Fabrication workshops (ferrous and non-ferrous);
18. Gem cutting and polishing;
19. Handling of chromite and manganese ores;
20. Jute textile manufacture and coir making;
21. Lime kilns and manufacture of lime;
22. Lock making;
23. 28. Manufacturing of burning coal and coal briquettes;
29. Manufacturing of sports goods involving exposure to synthetic materials, chemicals and leather;

38. Tyre making, repairing, re-treading and graphite beneficiation;
39. Utensils making, polishing and metal buffing;
40. ‘Zari’ making and processes involving the use of zari (all processes);
41. Graphite powdering and incidental processing;
42. Grinding or glazing of metals;
43. Diamond cutting and polishing;
44. Rag picking and scavenging;
45. Mechanized fishing;
46. Food processing;
47. Beverage industry;
48. Cultivating, sorting, drying and packaging in spice industry;

50. Mechanical lumbering;

52. Massage parlours, gymnasiums, or other recreational centres, or in medical facilities;

(b) lifting machines, chains, ropes and lifting tackles;
(c) revolving machinery;

(e) machine tools used in the metal trades;
54. Composing types for printing, printing by letter press, lithography, photogravure or other similar process or book-binding, as specified in sub-clause (iv) of clause (k) of section 2 of the Factories Act,
