(xiv) तथा उपधारा(3) द्वारा प्रित्त िजिर्ों का प्रर्ोग करते हुए, भारत सरकार के पर्ाावरण, वन और िलवार्ु पररवतान मंत्रालर् की अजधसूचना संखर्ांक का.आ. 654(अ), तारीख 11 फरवरी, 2020 में जनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती ह,ै अथाात:्- उि अजधसूचना में, (i) परैा 1 में, उप-पैरा (2) के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत उप-पैरा रखा िाएगा: - “(2) पाररजस्ट्तजथकी-संवेिी िोन के आसपास ग्रेट इंजडर्न बस्ट्टडा वन्द्र्िीव अभर्ारण्र् 0 मीटर से लेकर 400 मीटर तक जवस्ट्ताररत होगा और पाररजस्ट्तजथकी संवेिी िोन का क्षेत्र 590.78 वगा दकलोमीटर ह,ै जिसमें 100 पैच िाजमल हैं, जिनमें से तीन पैच पाररजस्ट्तजथकी संवेिी िोन से 0 मीटर की िरूी पर हैं और महाराष्ट्र राज्र् के अहमिनगर जिल ेकी किात तहसील और उत्तरी सोलापुर तालुका में नेहरू नगर और प्रताप नगर की नगर जनगम सीमाओं के अंतगात आत ेहैं।

[फा. सं. 25/38/2018-ईएसिेड ] डॉ. सु. केरकेट्टा, वैज्ञाजनक ‘िी’ रटप्पण.—मूल अजधसूचना, भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) में अजधसूचना संखर्ांक का.आ. 654(अ), तारीख 11 फरवरी, 2020 द्वारा प्रकाजित की गई थी और का.आ. 4331(अ), तारीख 03 अक् तूबर, 2024 द्वारा संिोजधत की गई थी। MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th December, 2024 S.O. 5293(E).—WHEREAS the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) and clauses (v) and (xiv) of sub-section (2) and sub- section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) read with sub-rule (3) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, issued a notification to declare an Eco-Sensitive Zone around the Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary, Maharashtra in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 654 (E), dated the 11th February, 2020;
AND WHEREAS the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest to amend the said notification;
AND WHEREAS sub-rule (4) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 provides that whenever it appears to the Central Government that it is in the public interest to do so, it may dispense with the requirement of notice under clause (a) of sub-rule (3) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986;
AND WHEREAS the Central Government is of the opinion that it is in the public interest to dispense with the requirement of notice under clause (a) of sub-rule (3) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 for amending the notification number S.O. 654 (E), dated the 11th February, 2020;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clauses (v) and (xiv) of sub-section (2) and sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) read with subrule (4) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, number S.O. 654 (E), dated the 11th February, 2020, namely:- In the said notification,
(i) in paragraph 1, for sub- paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely: - “(2) The Eco-sensitive Zone shall extend from 0 metre to 400 meters around the Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary and the area of the Eco-sensitive Zone is 590.78 square kilometres comprising of 100 patches out of which three patches have 0 metres from the Eco-sensitive Zone and falling in Tehsil Karjat of District 8 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] Ahmednagar and Municipal Corporation limits of Nehru Nagar and Pratap Nagar in North Solapur Taluka of the State of Maharashtra.>>;
