~if:~~ ;,m ii" am 3ll~llll:iBR, it. 3l"R. fum, ~ ~- Raipur, the 20th January 2006 NOTIFICATION No. F-10/8/2006/CT (Ex.)/V (1 ).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) and clauses (d), (e),
(f), (gj and (h) of Sub-Section (2) read with the proviso to sub-section (3) of Section 62 of the Ch_hattisgarh Excise Act, 1915 (No. 2 of 1915), the Stale Government hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Chhattisgarh Country Spirit Rules, 1995, namely :- AMENDMENTS In the said rules :-
1. - Clause (a) of Rule 2 shall be s'ubstituted by the following clause, namely :- "(a) "Manufacturing Warehouse" means a bonded warehouse situted in a separate hall or hails in the distillery campus where in rectified ~pirit for the manufacturing.of Country Liquor is received, stored, blended/reduced, bottled at issue strength, sealed packed in Master Cartons and supplied to the storage warehouses for giving issues to retail licensees."
2 . In sub-rule (I ) of Rule 3 ;
(1) In clause (a) for the words "for manufacture, bottling and wholesale supply of country spirit" the words "for wholesale supply of country liquor in sealed bottles packed in Master Cartons to storage warehouses" shall be substituted.
(2) In clause (b) for the words "amount of Rupees Eight lakh as securi ty" the words "amount of Rupees Five lakh minimum as security" and for the words "not exceeding Rupees Ten lakh" the words "not exceeding Rupees Twenty Five lakh" shall be substituted. ·
3. In sub-rule (3) of Rule 3 the words "to manufacture of Country Spirit, by essencing, colouring, flavouring, reducing, blending etc. at the manufacturing warehouses" shall be omitted .

4 . After Rule 3-A the following Rule sha11 be added, namely :- "3-B Manufacture and Bottling of Country Liquor :- A licence in Foim C.S. 1-B may be granted by the . Excise Commissio ner to a holder of D-1 licencee for manufacture and bottling of country liquor for supplj to storage warehouses of the Smte on payment of an amount of licence fee as may be prescribed by the State Government from time to time" . ·
5. In sub-ruie.(4) of Rul_e 4 ;
(1) In clause (a) for the words "each "manufacturing warehouse" the words "situated in the Distillery" shall be substituted".
(2) The clause (b) shall be substituted by the following clause, namely:- "(b) The C.S. 1-B licencee shall maintain minimum stock of empty bottles in the manufacturing warehouse situated in the distillery, which will be equivalent to the average of seven days issue of sealed bottles in the preceding month. - ~ ~ , ~ 20 ~ 2006 _-_'-_-::: ====================-====== I 4 . After Form C.S. I -A, the following Form shall be added namely :- FORM C.S. 1-B LICENCE FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND B01TLING OF COUNTRY LIQUOR (See Rule 3-B) 50 (5) Under Rule 3-B of the Chhattisgarh Country Spirit Rules, 1995 and in consideration of a fee of Rs ............. .. ......................... this licence is granted to ........... .. .... ................... ................... the holder of licence in Form ~ D-1 for distillery, for manufacturing and bottling of country liquor from ...................................... to ........ .. .. ................. .
with subject Lo the following conditions :- CONDITIONS l . The licensee shall manufacture country liquor of the strengths approved by the State Government from potable Spirit.
2. During the period of licence the licencee shall observe all the conditi.ons of Tender Notice.
3. The licencee will use only such essences and food colours for the preparation of country liquor which are approved by the Excise Commissioner.
4. The licencee shall bottling and packing of the country liquor shall be done by the licencee according to the instructioris given by the Ex,;ise Commissioner in this -regard from time to time.
5. On breach of any of the condition of this licence or the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915 and rules made thereunder or guide lines/instructions issued by the Excise Commissioner, this licence may be cancelled by the Licencing Authority.

(To be sent to the Officer-In-Charge of the storage warehouse of the destination).
