PART III GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION (Education-V Branch) NOTIFICATION The 13th February, 2020 No. G.S.R. 11/Const./Art.309/Amd. (1)/2020.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Cadre General) Group 'A' Service Rules 2018, namely :- RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Cadre General) Group 'A' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Cadre General) Group 'A' Service Rules, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as ‘said rules’), in Appendix 'A', against serial No. 4, under column 3 and 5, for the figures "53", the figures "45" shall, respectively, be substituted.
3. In the said rules, in Appendix 'B', for Serial No. 5 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- 1 2 3 4 5 6 "5. (3) Should possess teaching experience for a minimum period of three years on the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director.

PART III GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION (Education-V Branch) NOTIFICATION The 13th February, 2020 No. G.S.R. 12/Const./Art.309/Amd. (1)/2020.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'A' Service Rules, 2018, namely :- RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'A' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'A' Service Rules, 2018, in Appendix 'B', for Serial No. 2 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- 1 2 3 4 5 6 "2. Fifty per Fifty per cent cent Deputy District Education Officer, Principal, Government Senior Secondary School
(1) Should have passed Master's Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Engineering in any stream from a recognized university or institution,-
(i) with minimum fifty per cent marks in the case of persons from General Category;
and
(ii) with minimum (A) Seventy per cent from amongst the Lecturers, working under the control of the Director, who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of five years;

1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection) Group 'B' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘said rules’), in Appendix 'A', -
(i) in Serial No. 9, in the main heading "Number of Posts", under sub headings 'Permanent' and 'Total', for the figures "843", the figures "827", shall, respectively, be substituted; and
(ii) after Serial No. 20, the following serial number shall be added, namely :- " 21 Sports Coordinator 16 0 16 10300-34800+5400".
3. In the said rules, in Appendix 'B', -
(i) for Serial No. 1 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- 1 2 3 4 5 6
1. Headmaster Fifty per or cent Headmistress Fifty per cent.
These posts shall be filled up in the following order, namely:-
(1) Should have passed Graduation with minimum fiftyfive per cent marks, from a recognized university or institution as per University Grants Commission guidelines;
(1) Should have passed Graduation from a recognized university or institution as per University Grants Commission guidelines;

(i) two per cent from amongst the Block Primary Education Officers;
and
(ii) Fortyeight per cent from amongst the Masters or Mistresses of different subjects, working under the control of the Director, based on their interse seniority.
(2) Should have passed B.Ed., from a recognized university or institution except in case of persons working to the posts of Vocational Masters or Vocational Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty as per University Grants Commission guidelines; and;
(3) Should possess teaching experience for a minimum period of three years against the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director.

(1)/2020.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018, namely:- RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'B' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection Border Area) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘said Rules’), in Appendix 'A', -
(i) in Serial No. 9, in the main heading "Number of Posts", under sub headings 'Permanent' and 'Total', for the figures "325", the figures "319", shall, respectively, be substituted; and

3. In the said rules, in Appendix 'B',-

(1)/2020.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab State Elementary Education (Administrative Cadre) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018, namely:- RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab State Elementary Education (Administrative Cadre) Group 'B' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab State Elementary Education (Administrative Cadre) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as ‘said rules’), in rule 10, for the words "respective district", the word "State" shall be substituted.
3. In the said rules, in Appendix 'B', -
(i) under column 4, in item (3), for the words "five years in a Central/State Government School and work have acquired such experience after acquiring the minimum educational and professional qualifications", the words "three years in any Government School, under the control of the Director", shall be substituted; and
(ii) In column 5, for the words "in the same district in which promotions are to be made", the words "in the respective districts other than the districts falling in the Border area of the State" shall be substituted.

3. In the said rules, in Appendix 'B', -
(i) under column 4, in item (3), for the words "five years in a Central/State Government School and must have acquired such experience after acquiring the minimum educational and professional qualifications", the words "three years in any Government School, under the control of the Director", shall be substituted; and
