Section 15: Right of access to certain protected monuments.

The Ancient Monuments Preservation Act, 1904Central Act · Act 7 of 1904

(1) Subject to such rules as may after previous publication be made by [the Central Government], the public shall have a nut right of access to any monument maintained by [the Central Government] under this Act.

(2) In making any rule under sub-section (1) [the Central Government] may provide that a breach of it shall be punishable with fine which may extend to twenty rupees.
