The Andaman and Nicobar Island (Tribal Councils) Retaliation, 2009.Regulations · 2009

(1) Subject to such control and restrictions as may be prescribed;aVillage Council may appoint Committees for exercising such of its powers and discharging such of its duties and functions 4s it may determine.

(2) A committes shall consist of not more than five members and may be dissolved or reconstituted for such reasons and in such manner as may be prescribed.

26. No act or proceeding of a Village Council shall be deemed to be invalid by reason only of the existence of any vacancy or defect in the constitution of the Village Council or of any infirmity in ,its proceedings.
