The Chief Executive Officer, on receipt of information that any Wagqf is not registered with the Board, may require an officer of the Board to conduct local inquiry and on the report of the officer, if he is of the opinion that it is a Waqf, to be registered under the Act, he shall issue notice to the person who is administering the Wagf, to show cause as to why the said Waqf should not be registered. The Chief Executive Officer shall consider the objection, if any, and pass appropriate order.
