In these Rules, unless the context otheMise requires,-

(a) "clause" means clause of a rule or suFrule of these Rules,' (b) "Executive Offlcei' means the Executive Officer of a Panchayat Samiti;

iOj ,,Regutation,' means the Andaman and Nicobar lslands(Panchayats) Regulation,1994 (No.1 of 1994):

(e) 'Rule" means a rule ofthese Rules; and
