The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Plants Diseases and Pests Regulation 1969Union territory Regulations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands · 1968

(1) The Chief Commissioner may, after previous publication.. by notification in the Andaman and Nicobar Gazette make rules for carry­ ing out the purposes of this Regulation.

(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-

(a) the manner in which any notice or order issued or made under this Regulation is to be served or the conditions under which such notice or order shall be de med to have been served'

(b) the form in- which anap pal under suc-sectlon (1) or sub­ section (2) of section 10 shall be filed'

(c) the officers other than village officers who shall make report under section 13; and .J

(ri) such other matter as are required t be. or may be, prescribed.

(3) Any rule made under this ;Regulation may provide that a contr~- verrtion of any such rule shall e punishable With. fine "~hich rnav ~tend r» fifty rupees.
