Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Regiatrstion Act, 1908Union territory Act of Andaman and Nicobar Islands · Act 16 of 1908

(1) This Act may be called the 2 *** Registration Act,

1908.

3 [(2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir:

Provided that the State Government may exclude any districts or tracts of country from its operation.]

(3) It shall come into force on the first day of January, 1909.
