The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Town and Country Planning Regulation, 1994Regulations · 1994

(1) The Administrator, may appoint an officer, not below the rank of a Secretary to th^ Administration 1" be the Town Planner for the purposes of this Regulation and may also appoint other persons to assist the Town Planner.

(2) The Administrator may, by general or special order, confer, on any person appointed under sub-section (1), all or any of the powers of the Town Planner under this Regulation and such person shall exercise such powers subject to the general superintendence, direction and control of the Town Planner. _ .

4 The Administrator shall place at the disposal of the Town Planner such number of officers and employees (including experts for technical work) of the Administration as may be necessary for the efficient performance of his functions and may determine iheir designaiions and grades.
