(I) These rules may be called the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chaimlan and Members) Amendment Rules. 20 I O.
(2) They shall be applicable to the ehainnan, Vice Chairmen and Members of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal appointed bef(lfe the 19th February, 2007.
(3) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th October, 1989.
2. In the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman. Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1989, in Rule 8, after sub-rule (2). the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely >- "(3) Gratuity,-The Members who have completed five years of service in the Tribunal shall be entitled for a retirement gratuity equal to one-fourth of the emoluments for each completed period of six months of service subject to a maximum of sixteen and half time orthe emoluments:
Provided that the total amount of gratuity payble to a Member under this clause and the amount of gratuity drawn by him in respect of services rendered in an organisation or department before joining Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal shali not exceed the maximum amount of gratuity specified by the Central Government for officers of All India Service at the time of his retirement fi-om Government service." . Explanatory Memorandum The Central Government has decided to grant retirement gratuity to the Members ofthe Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal who were appointed before 19th February, 2007 for the service rendered by them in the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and accordingly, the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowance and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members) Rules, 1989 are being amended with retrospective effect.

In the Kamataka Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chainnan, Vice-Chainnan and Members) Rules, 1986, in rule 8, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:--- "(3) Gratuity.-The Members who have completed live years of service in the Tribunal shall be entitled for a retirement gratuity equal to one-fourth of the emoluments forcach completed period of six months of service subject to a maximum of sixteen and half time of the emoluments:
Provided that the total amount of gratuity payble to a Member under this clause and the amount of gratuity drawn by him in respect of services rendered in an organisation or department before joining Kamataka Administrative Tribunal shall not exceed the maximum amount of gratuity specified by the Central Government for officers of All India Service at the time of his retirement from Government service.". . Vicc~Chaiml(m and Members) Rules. 1986, namely:- I. (I) These rules may be called the Madhya Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allo\vanccs and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Amendment Rules, 20 I O.
(2) They shall be applicable to the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members of the Madhya Pradesh Administrative Tribunal appointed before the 19th February. 2007.
(3) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th December, 1986.

In the Madhya Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chaimlan, Vice-Chainnan and Members) Rules, 1986. ;n rule 8, after sub-rule (2). the following sub-rule shall be inserted. namely;.- "(3) Gratuity.-The Members who have completed five years of service in the Tribunal shall be entitled for a retirement gratuity equal to one-fourth of the emoluments for each completed period of six months of service subject to a maximum of sixteen and half time of the emoluments:
Provided that the total amount of gratuity payble to a Member under this clause and the amount of gratuity drawn by him in resp'ect of services rendered in an organisation or department before joining Madhya Pradesh Administrative Tribunal shall not exceed the maximum amount of gratuity specified by' the Central Government for officers of All India Service at the time of his retirement from Government service.". (I) These rules may be called the Tami! Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman. Vice-Chainllan and Members) Amendment Rules, 2010.
(2) They shall be applicable to the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members ofthc Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal appointed before the 19th February, 2007.
(3) The:.' shall be deemed to have come into fort:c on the 29lh June, 1988.

In the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salari..:s and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1988, in rule 8, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely;-- "(3) GratlJity.-The Members who have completed tlve years of service in the Tribvnal shall be entitled for a retirement. gratuity equal to one fourth of the emoluments for each completed period of six months of service subject to a maximum of sixteen and half time orthe emoluments:
Provided that the total amount of gratuity payble to a Member under this clause and the amount of gratuity drawn by him in respect of services rendered in an organisation or department before joining Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal shall not exceed the maximum amount of gratuity specified by the Central Government for ofticers of All India Service at the time orhis retirement from Government servicl:.".
