All laws of the State of Madras which immediately before the date of commencement of this Act extended to, or were in force in, the transferred territories shall, as from that date, stand repealed and all laws of the State of Andhra Pradesh which extend to, or are in force in, the Andhra area in which those territories are included and which have not already been extended to, or have not come into force in, those territories shall, as from that date, extend to, or as the case may be, come into force in, those territories:
Provided that anything done or any action taken before the date of commencement of this Act under any law in force in the transferred territories shall be deemed to have been done or taken, as from that date, under the corresponding law extended to, and in force in, those territories.
