Section 59: Application for grant ofinspection

(l) Application fof inspection of record uhder s.ubrule (l) and (2) of rule 57, shall be in the form prescribed and presented at the tiliirg oounqg of the Registry between 10.30 AM and 3.00 PM oi any working day and nvo days bcfrrrc tlre date o;t which inspection is sought, unless otherwise permitted by the Registrar.

(:) The Registry shalt submit the application with its remarks before tfre Registrar, who shall on consideration ofthe same, pass appropriate orders.

(3) lnspection of records of a pending case shall not ordinarily be permined on the date I'xed for bearing ofthc case or on the preceding day.

60, Fee payable for inspection.- Fee as given in the Schedule of the fe€s appgndod to thesc rules shall be payable by way of Demand Draft or lndian Postal Order to-be drawn infavour of the tay End Accounts Oflicer, Ministry of Power, New Delhi on any application for inspection of records ofa pend:ng or decided case.

61. Mode of lnspection,- (l) On grant of permission for inspection ofthe records, the Deputy Registrar shall arrange to procure the records of the case and allow inspection of such records on the date and time fixed by the Registrar between 10.30 AM and 12.30 PM and between 2.30 PM and 4,30 PM in the immediate preseice ofan officer authorized in that behalf.

(2) The person inspecting the records shall not in any manner caus€ dislocation, mutilation. ttmPeri;g or damage to the records in the course of insPection.

(3) The person insp€cting the records shall not makc any mar*ing on my rcoord or papcr so inspecled and taking notes, ifany, ofthe documents or records inspectcd may be dono onl" in pencil.

(4) The person supervisiqg'tte inspection, may al 8ny time prohibit {rrther inspection, if in bis opinion, any of the records u." lik"ly to be damaged in the process of inspection or lhe person inspecting th€ records has violated or attempted to violatc thc provisions of thosc nrlca and shall imrnediatoly make a report about the mstter to th€ Registrrr and sock frnther orders fiom tho Rcgistrar aad,such [otcs shall he made in column (8) ofthe InsPection Register.
