The President shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as prescribed/ conferred under theAct and standing orders of the Council. He/ she shall act such as he/ she considers necessary in furtherance of the objects for which the Council is established. In case of urgency the President may take the necessary action and intimate the fact to the next Council meeting.
