The Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1997State Act of Arunachal Pradesh · Act 5 of 2001

(1) A person shall not be qualified to be chosen to fill a seat in a constituency of a Gram Panchayat, [***] and Zilla Parishad, unless:

(a) his or her name appears as an elector in the electoral roll of concerned constituency of a Gram Panchayat, [***] and Zilla Parishad :

(b} he or she has completed 21 years of age on the date of submission of nomination at an election.

(2) A person shall not be qualified to be chosen to fill a seat in more than one constituency of a Gram Panchayat, [* * *] and Zilla Parishad.

121. Notwithstanding anything in this Act no court shall have any jurisdiction in respect of any matters connected with the disqualification of members of Gram Panchayat, member of[***] and Members of Zilla Parishad.
