The Arunachal Pradesh Gazette EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 260, Vol. XXVI, Naharlagun, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 Asadha 4, 1941 (Saka) GOVERNMENT OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH DEPARTMENT OF PANCHAYATI RAJ ITANAGAR NOTIFICATION The 2nd June, 2019 THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH PANCHAYATS (PREPARATION OF ELECTORALROLLS) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2018 No. PR-159/2018.- In exercise of the power conferred by section 106 read with section 150 of the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1997, (Act No. 5 of 2001) the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati raj (Preparation of Electoral Rolls) Rules, 2002 except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such amendment, for regulating the Preparation of Electoral Rolls for contesting election to Gram Panchayat and Zilla Parishad as follow:
1. (1) These rules may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Preparation of Short title and Electoral Rolls) (Amendment) Rules, 2018. commencement.
(1) In theArunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Preparation of Electoral Roll) Rules, 2002, Amendment (herein after referred to as the Principal Rules), clause (c) of Rule 3 shall be deleted. of Rule 3.
(2) In clause (h) of Rule 3 of the Principal Rule, the word "AnchaI Samiti" appearing after the word "Panchayat" and before the word "and" shall be deleted.
(3) In clause (i) of Rule 3 of the Principal Rule, the word "Anchal Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the word "or" shall be deleted.
2. In Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 4 of the Principal Rule, the words "Anchal Samitis" appearing Amendment after the words "Gram Panchayats" and before the word "or" shall be deleted. of Rule 4.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
3. In Rule 5 of the Principal Rule, the word "Anchal Samiti" appearing after Amendment of Rule 5.
4. The words "Gram Panchayat Constituency" and before the word "or" shall be deleted.
5. In the Principal Rule, in Rule 8, for sub-rule (1 ), the following shall be substituted Amendment of Rule 8.
"The Electoral Registration Officer shall prepare or cause to be prepared Electoral Rolls of all the Gram Panchayat Constituencies and integrated Electoral Rolls under the respective Zilla Parishad as per form-I."
6. In Rule 10 of the Principal Rule, the word "Anchal Samiti" appearing after the words Amendment "Gram Panchayat" and before the word "or" shall be deleted. of Rule 10.
7. In Rule 13 of the Principal Rule, the words "orAnchal Samiti" appearing after the words Amendment "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "or Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted. of Rule 13.
8. (1) In the Principal Rule, in sub-rule (1) of rule 16 of the Principal Rule, the words "Anchal Amendment Samiti" appearing after the words, "Gram Panchayat" and before the word, "or" shall of Rule 16.

10. In Form-3, the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
11. In Form-4, the words "Panchayat Samiti" wherever appears shall be deleted.
12. In Form-5, the words "PanchayatSamiti" wherever appears shall be deleted.
13. In Form-6, the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
14. In Form-7, the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
15. In Form-8, the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
16. In Form-9, the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
17. In Form-10, in "Original/ Duplicate" the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
18. In Form-11, in "Original/ Duplicate" the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
19. In Form-12, in "Original/ Duplicate" the words "Panchayat Samiti" wherever appears shall be deleted.
20. In Form-13, in "Original/ Duplicate" the words "Panchayat Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the words "Zilla Parishad" shall be deleted.
21. In Form-14, the words "Panchayat Samiti" wherever appears shall be deleted.
