The Arunachal Pradesh Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2006State Act of Arunachal Pradesh · Act 15 of 2006

(1 ). The State Government may, by notification in the Orficial Gazette. and subject to the conditions of previous publication, rnake rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.

(2) Every rule made by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made before the Legislative Assembly ol Arunachal Pradesh while it is in session for a total period of ten days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions and it, bciore the expiry of the session in which it so laid or the session immedialely following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, the Legislatlve Assembly makes any modif ication in the rule or resolves that the rule should not be made , the rule shall thereafler have efiect only in such modified form or be of no effect as the case may be, so however, that such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity oi an)4hing previously done under the rule.

31 . (1) The Authority may, with the previous approval of the State Government make regulations consistent with this Act and the rules made lhereunder, lor allorany of the matters to be provided underthisAct by regulations and generally for all other matters for which provisjon is, in the opinion o{ the Authority, necessary for the exercise of its powers and the discharge of its functions under this Act.

(2) Pending making of the regulations by the Aulhority with the approval of the State Government, the existing rules and procedures shall be followed by the Authority {or carrying out its functions.
