(1) Any officer not below the ronk of Junior Engineer outhorized in this beholf by the competent outhority moy, between 9 om ond 5 pm, enter into ony premises for the purpose oi inspecting ony woter instollotion.
(2) The power conferred by this section includes power to breok open the door/gote where the Executive Engineer or such Gozetted Oflicer hos o reoson to believe thot woter is being misused or used without proper permission.
Provided thot the power to breok open the door/gote sholl be exercised only ofter the owner or ony other person in occupotion of the premises, if he is present therein, refuses to open the door/gote on being colled to do so.
(3) lf such officer is, ot ony such time, refused odmission into such premises for the purpose ond prevented from moking such inspection, the competent outhority moy, ofter giving the consumer on opportunity oi being heord, cutoff the supply of woter to thot premises;
Provided thot if ony such premises is on oportment in the octuol occuponcy of o womon who, occording to the custom does not oppeor in public, such officer sholl, before entering such oportment, give notice to such womon thot she is ot liberty to withdrow ond offord her every reosonoble locility for withdrowing ond moy then enter the oportment.
