(a) becomes subject to any disqualif icatio n me n tioned in Section 12; or
(b) is absen t witho ut leave of the Board for more than three consecutive meet ings thereof, his sea t shal l the reu pon become vacant .

(1) of Section 12 may resign his office by giving notice thereo f in wri ting to the Board and on ’such resig natio n being acc ept ed shall be deem ed to have vac ate d his office.
