The Assam Agricultural Farming Corporation Act, 1973State Act of Assam · Act 8 of 1973

(1) Th e Sta te Government may appo int any officer to perform the func tions of the Con troller unde r the Ac t.

(2) Th e Controlle r will be responsible for supe rvision of the working of the Agricultura l Fa rming Cor poratio ns an d pro vid ing necessary guidan ce to such Cor poratio ns and will perform such oth er functions and will hav e such powers as ma y be prescribed.

(3) Th e Sta te Government may delegate all or any of its or the Controlle r’s powers an d funct ions to any official of the Sta te Government or anybod y or organis ation.

26. Decisions of the Board or any gen eral meetin g of the Corpo rat ion on ma tte rs pres cribed shall no t be val id unless app rov ed by the Sta te Governm ent.
