The Assam Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendment) Act, 1946State Act of Assam · Act 5 of 1958

In Section 3 o f t he Prin cipal Act in items (t ), (it) and (iii) of sub-section (1) the words “ ha lf an na ” and “ an an na ” wherever they occur shall be substitu ted by “ five na ye paise” ;

(2) the following new sub-sec tion shall be added afte r sub-section (5), na mely:— “ (6) The l iabi lity to pay the enterta inm ents tax shal l be on the pro prie to r of the en ter tai nm en t” .
