(1) No amendment w of the bye-laws of a registered society, whether by way of addition, al ternation,wliK omission, rescission or change of name shall be valid until such amendment has^B been registered under this Act.
(2) Every proposal for such amendment shall have to be approved by ad * resolution at a meeting of the General Assembly in accordance with the bye-lawsa® of the society and be forwarded within a month from the date of the resolution® to the Registrar; and if the Registrar is satisfied that the proposed amendment® is not contrary to the provisions of this Act or rules, he shall, unless for reasons.® to be recorded in writing he considers fit to refuse, register the amendment. (3) When the Registrar registers an amendment of the bye-laws of a t registered society, he shall issue to the society a copy' of the amendment certified B by him, which shall be conclusive evidence that the same has been duly registered, B unless it is proved that the registration of the society has been cancelled or that 1 further amendments have been registered or that the society’s copy of the amend-® ments have been tampered with. The amendment shall be binding upon the® society with effect from the date of registration. ,®
