Section 41: Prescription and inspection of documents

The Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949State Act of Assam · Act 1 of 1950

(I) Every registered society shall keep and allow inspection free of charge by any member of the society and such other persons as may be prescribed al all reasonable limes at the office of the society—

(a) A copy of this Act.

(b) A copy of the rules framed under this Act.

(c) A copy of the bye-laws of the society.

(d) A copy of all rules framed under the bye-laws of the society.

(e) Annual balance sheet authenticated by the Audit Officer, and

(f) Such other books, forms, registers or other documents as may be pres­ cribed by the Registrar.

(2) A society shall deliver to every member on payment of a sum prescribed by tlic society’s bye-laws or rules, copies of documents certified to be true copies.
