Section 48: Deduction of dues from salary of members

(f a member of a registered ■ iocicly, who is an employee of the Government or any local authority, takes a 1 ' loan irom a society and contracts to repay it by instalments, and authorises the ■I society to recover such instalments by deduction front his salary, the person I rho disbm :<•*; any amount payable to such member as salary or remuneration | in respect of such employment shall, on demand from the society, deduct the 1 , iniount of such instalment from the amount disbursed to such member as salary < and shall forthwith remit to the society the amount so deducted.
