Section 74: Punishment for disposing property in contravention of section 46

The Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949State Act of Assam · Act 1 of 1950

Any member, past member or the nominee, heir or legal representative of a deceased member removing or otherwise disposing of, or suffering to be removed or otherwise disposed of, any property on which a registered society holds a first charge under section 46 with intent ’to defraud the society or with such intent doing any other act to the prejudice of the society’s first charge, shall be punish­ able with fine not exceeding five hundred rupees.
