Section 77: Cognizance of offences

The Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949State Act of Assam · Act 1 of 1950

(1) No court inferior to that of a Magistrate ofl the second class shall try any offence under this Act.

(2) No prosecution for an offence under this Act shall be instituted without;

the previous sanction of the Registrar.

(3) Offences under this Act may be tried summarily.
