Section 16: In the principal Act, in section 49, for clause (a), the following shall be substituted, namely

The Assam Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2012State Act of Assam · Act 4 of 2013

“(a) There shall be a Chief Executive, by whatever designation called of every co-operative society to be appointed by the Board or by the State Government. In the event of appointment of the Chief Executive by the Board, he shall be a full time employee of the society.”.

THE ASSAM GAZETTE, EXTRA ORDINARY, FEBRUARY 5, 2013 385 and the word or” shall be substituted and thereafter the following new clause (c) shall be inserted, namely :- Amendment of section 81
