(I) The Commissioner, may by notifi­ cat ion in Official Gazet te, constitu te for any are a or any pa rt the reo f a “ Prohib ition Com mit tee” consis ting in such propor tion as the Commissioner ma y deem fit of two or more official and non-offic ial residents of such a rea or pa rt thereof. He may also, by like notification dissolve o r reco nsti tute any such commit tee.

(2) Th e duties to be performed by a Prohib ition Com mitt ee and its relation to oth er such Comm ittees and to the Commissioner shall be such as may be prescribed.

(3) The mem bers of th e Pro hib ition Comm ittee shall be des igna ted Prohibi tion Officers.
