Whoev er, bein g the owner or occupier or having the use o f any house, room , enclosure, spa ce, vessel, vehicles or plac e, knowingly permits it to be used for the commission , by any othe r person, of an offence pun ishable under this Act or the rules ma de the reu nder, shall be pun ishe d with imprison ment of either descrip tion for a term which may extend to six m onths or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
