Section 83

The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water and Sewerage Board Act, 2009State Act of Assam · Act 10 of 2009

(1) If a person liable to pay any dues to the Board does not, within thirty days from the service of the notice of demand, pay the amount due, such sum together with all costs and the penalty under section 72 shall be recoverable under a notice by distress and sale of the movable property, or the attachment and sale of the immovable property.

(2) Every notice issued under this section shall be signed by a Member of the Board or any officer duly authorized by the Board.
