Section 61

The Assam Inland Water Transport Regulatory Authority Act, 2018State Act of Assam · Act 27 of 2018

(1) The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to. and not in derogation of, the provisions in any other law for the time being in force, relating to inland waterways. forests, wildlife, disaster management or environment protection.

(2 ) The functions of the Regulatory Authority are to be enabled by the Central Act z\ct in conjunction with Inland Vessels Act, 1917, Indian Ports lo f1 9 1 7- Central Art Act, 1908 and the Inland Waterways Authority of India Act, 1985. .7 No. 15 of 1908, Act No. 82 of

1985.
