(1) The University shall be open to persons of either sex and of v. hatever race, creed, caste or c Jass, and it shall not be lawful for the University to adopt or impose on any person any test whatsoever of religious belief or profession in order to entitle him to be appointed as a teacher of the University or to hold any other office therern or admitted as a student in the University or to graduate there at or to enjoy or exercise an)' privilege thereof.

CHAPTER Ill OFFICERS OF THE UNIVERSITY
7. The following shall be the officers of the University: - (!) The Chancellor;
(2) The Pro Vice-Chancellor;
(3) The Vice-Chancellor;
(4) The Registrar;
(5) The Dean (Academic);
(6) The Dean (Administration);
(7) The Dean (Study Centres);
(8) The Finance Officer;
(9) The Director, Multimedia course material Centre;
( 10) The Director (Computer);
(I J) Such oth~r officers as may be declared by the Statutes to be the Offi~ers of the University.
