Y /( l) In sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the Principal Act , the words “ assessment g rou p” shall be substituted by the word “ village” , and the lett ers and figures “ Rs.12” by the l ette rs and figures “ Rs.15” .
(2) In sub-section (2) of Section 12 of the Princi pal Act for the letters and figures “ Rs .12” wherever they occu r, the lette rs and figures “ Rs .15” shal l be substituted.
(3) Th e existing e xplana tion unde r Section 12 sha ll be sub stituted by the following proviso, namely :— “ Provided th at the concession m ent ioned in the sub-sect ion (1) above shall no t be ava ilab le for any lan d which, in th e opin ion of the State Government h ad , imm edia tely before the settl ement , been held on conces siona l te ri rs or settled or used for special cul tiva tion .”
