Section 8: Power to make rules

The Assam Ministers' and Deputy Ministers• Salaries and Allowances Act, 1958State Act of Assam · Act 15 of 1958

(i) The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act . .

(ii) All rules made under this Act shall be laid before the Assam Legis lative A:.sembly, as soon as may be , after they are made.

~. Repeal of Assam Act No.VI of 1948.-The Assam Ministers' (Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1948, is hereby repealed.
