GOVERNMENT OP ASSAM ' ORDERS BY l THE GOVERNOR ·' .l LAW DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATIONS The 9th September 1970 No.LJL.81/70/4.-The following Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly which received the assent of the Governor is hereby published for general information.

futther to amend the Assam Ministers', Ministe:rs' of State and Deputy Ministers' Salal"ies and Allowances Act, 1958 Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Assam Act Ministers', Ministers' of State and Deputy Ministers' XV of Salaries and Allowances Act, 1958, hereinafter called 1958• ~he principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing;

4.68 THE ASSAM GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, SEPT. 10. 1:>70 . It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic -of India as follows 1- Short title 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Ministers', and commen·Ministers' of State and Deputy Mini:!ters' Salarie'J cement, and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 197().

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. For section 8 of the principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely:- Amend.ment "8. Explanation.-!. For the purpose of thh section the expression 'the members of their families' shall mean and include such members as may be prescribed by rule1.

2. Those who are entitled to free medical attendance and treatment may take the same from any registered physician of their choice­ Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani or Homoeopathic and medical bills on prescription of such physi­ cians are re-imbursable."

Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Assam Act Speaker's Salaries and Allowance~ Act, 1958, herein· fg~~ of after called the principal Act, in the manner herein- · after appearing;
