lf, for reasons sufficient to the satisfao of the Governor, a general election could not be held in any Muriid before the lapse of four years as prescribed by sub-section (I) of SeoHo of the said Act, the Governor may fix a date for such general election at::
time within nine months from the date on which the said four-years la and thereupon the general election shall be held in accordance with provisions of the said Act and the rules made thereunder and such ge election shall be valid for all purp03es notwithstanding any provisions · · said Act.
