(1) The District Superintendent of Police or any other Police Officer authorized by him in this behalf, through a general or special order, may give reasonable directions to the public to keep order on public roads and streets, thoroughfares, or any public place, in order to prevent obstruction, injury, or annoyance to passers by or pollution.
(2) The District Superintendent of Police may issue general directions under sub-section (1), in respect of the whole district or any part thereof, as per procedure laid down in Section l04.
Penalty for disobeying orders or directions

Any person not obeying the lawful orders issued under section 90,91 and 93 may be arrested and on conviction by a Court Law, shall be liable to a fine which may be extended upto rupees two thousand.
