(1) Where a person is committed to prison under a sentence of death of imprisonment and the copy of Central judgment to be furnished to him free of cost under section A c t 2 of 363 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is sent by the 1 9 7 4 sentencing Court to' the Superintendent of the prison for delivery to the person sentenced, the Superintendent shall immediately cause it to be delivered to such person and obtain written acknowledgement thereof from him.
Facilities for appeal, etc.
(2) Where such copy is not furnished by the Court and such person desires to make an appeal against, or a’n application for revision, suspension, remission or commutation of, such sentence, the Superintendent shall immediately apply to the Court for such copy,
