The Assam State Capital Reglon Development Authority Act, 2017State Act of Assam · Act 38 of 2017

(1) The Chief Administrative /Executive Offi~er of the Authority shall be appointed by the Government of Assam not below the rank of Secretary to the State Government. The State Government shall by order determine. from time to time, the salary and other terms and conditions of service and the powers and functions.

He shall be appointed for such period not exceeding three years as the State Government may decide. and the appointment may be extended from time to time for a period not exceeding three years at a time.

(2) The Authority may, appoint Deputy or Assistant Regional Development Commjssioners, Urban Planners, Engineers, Law-Officer, Accounts Officer and other officers either on deputation or on appointment.

(3) The Authority may, from time to time, Issue sanction for creation of posts of officers, staffs as may be necessary for the efficient performance of the functions of the Authority. The condition of recruionent, appointment and service and the powers and duties of such officers, and staff shall be such as may be determined by service regulations.
